Hi, I’m Robert Huiskes, the founder and creative force behind Huskymics Harmonica Microphones where vintage tone meets handcrafted quality.

I come from a family of entrepeneurs. My great grandfather started in the late 1800's repairing sewing machines, later on he built a large company selling bikes, motorcycles, cars, tv's, furniture and yes also microphones....

I had been running a vintage campervan company for 10 years when in 2015 I started customizing microphones as a hobby. This soon resulted in a new company: Huskymics.

I design, build, customize and repair harmonica microphones. Whether you’re chasing that rich vintage blues tone or searching for a unique instrument that feels like an extension of your playing, my mics are crafted with precision and a love for the music itself.

At Huskymics, I blend traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create microphones that deliver that classic fat, crunchy sound harp players crave.

Every microphone that leaves my workshop is shaped by my years of hands-on experience — designed not only to perform, but also to challenge and inspire. From custom builds to repairs and parts, my mission is always the same: help harmonica players find their tone with a mic that feels just right.

For me, a microphone isn’t just a piece of gear — it’s an instrument in its own right. That’s why I pour heart, soul and expertise into every Huskymic, making sure it brings your tone to life on stage, at home, in the studio or at a jam session.

Let’s make your sound unforgettable!
